A natural person using BudgetBuddy's services after registering an account
Registration requirements
Requirements
The user must be of legal age and have full legal capacity.
Registration data
Required: e-mail address, username, password. Data must be true and up to date.
Account security
The user is responsible for keeping their password secure and must not share their login details.

Creating and editing monthly budgets
Organizing and categorizing transactions
Reviewing spending and financial analysis
Digitizing receipts and bank statements (a digital service)
Payments and subscriptions
Subscriptions are sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play. BudgetBuddy does not receive card details.
Automatically renewing monthly and annual Plus and Premium options are available.
Cancellation, purchase history and refund requests are available in the store used for the purchase.
The Free plan may display non-personalized Google AdMob banners. Paid plans and Unlimited do not display these ads.
Current features and monthly limits are shown before purchase and in the plan comparison. A shared budget uses its owner's entitlements and limits.

User obligations
The user agrees to:
- Use the service in accordance with the law and good practice
- Provide true information when registering
- Not share their login details with third parties
- Not disrupt the operation of the application
- Not transfer their rights and obligations to third parties

- Attempting to hack or breach security
- Using the application for unlawful purposes
- Copying, modifying or distributing the code
- Creating multiple accounts to bypass plan limits or obtain unauthorized access
Payments, subscriptions and refunds
Payment rules
Apple App Store processes iOS purchases and Google Play processes Android purchases, at the price and terms shown before confirmation. RevenueCat relays entitlement status to BudgetBuddy but does not handle card details.
Card and bank account details are neither sent to BudgetBuddy nor stored on our servers.
Plan features are enabled after the store confirms the transaction.
The price and effective date of switching plan or billing period are shown before confirmation and handled by the relevant store, including its treatment of the remaining paid period.
Right of withdrawal
These terms do not limit mandatory consumer rights under Polish and EU law.
Where a statutory right of withdrawal applies to a digital purchase, its deadline and exercise are governed by applicable law and the relevant store rules.
Submit payment refund requests through Apple or Google because the store processes the transaction and payment method.
You may separately report BudgetBuddy service issues to complaints@budget-buddy.eu; include the order ID but never card details.
Refunds and access
Complaints
Send complaints to complaints@budget-buddy.eu with your order number and a description of the issue.
We respond to consumer complaints within 14 calendar days of receipt, unless mandatory law sets a different period.
If a complaint is upheld, we apply a remedy within BudgetBuddy's control. Apple or Google handles a store-payment refund under store rules and applicable law.
Liability
Service provider
Makes every effort to ensure the service is continuous and secure, but does not guarantee there will be no technical interruptions.
User
Bears full responsibility for the data they enter and how they use the application.
Data
The user regularly backs up their own data. The service provider is not liable for data loss.
Termination
At any time by deleting the account in app settings. Deleting the account does not cancel App Store or Google Play renewal; cancel the subscription in the store first.
In case of a breach of these terms, after a prior warning
Permanent deletion of the account and user data, except information that must be retained by law or to defend legal claims.
